Anchor Pendant Buoy Description
Anchor pendant buoys consist of removable, interchangeable modules, including separate end modules and intermediate modules assembled to a central steel structure. These modules are assembled into the central steel structure to form the buoy. Each module is made with a durable, low-density polyurethane foam core. This system allows the number of central modules to be adjusted according to the required net buoyancy. With different needs, one can change the net buoyancy of the buoy by increasing or decreasing the number of central modules to achieve one’s desired effect. It is a viable and cost-effective option.
Jerryborg offers a wide variety of types and sizes of anchor chain buoys. These include suitcase models, modular models, and custom and standard configurations. All buoys are equipped with a removable central steel structure and can also be configured to meet customer requirements. Our anchor chain buoys have a thermo-laminated closed-cell polyethylene foam core and a tough polyurethane outer shell, built for all marine conditions. For longer service life, we also use a filament nylon tire cord for reinforcement, which improves the buoy’s resistance to tearing and abrasion so that the buoy can be reused from project to project.
