One End Reinforced Half Floating Hose

The half-floating hose is reinforced at one end. It connects to SPM ( Single Point Mooring ) or CALM ( Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring )buoys. It allows oil transfer between an FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) and a tanker.

One End Reinforced Half Floating Hose Features

  • Application Scenarios: Suitable for pipeline applications in floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) operations. Suitable for transfer systems connected to FPSO.
  • Carcass Options: Our floating hoses are available in single- or double-carcass configurations.
  • Prestaties: Our floating hoses are typically rated for operating pressures of 15 bar, 19 bar, and 21 bar. The hose has a safety factor of 5:1. The minimum reserve buoyancy is 20%, and custom options are available.
  • Electrical Performance: Our floating hoses are available with discontinuous electrical connections or custom designs upon request.
  • Safety: Jerryborg Marine’s one-end-reinforced half-floating hoses can be equipped with leak detection and alarm devices. When the shell is damaged, the detector will emit a signal, allowing personnel to quickly identify the damage and stop work for repairs, thereby reducing environmental pollution.
