Mooring Rope Manufacturer – Jerryborg Marine
Jerryborg Marine offers mooring lines with multi-strand structures, including common 3-strand, 6-strand, 8-strand, and 12-strand configurations. Lower strand counts result in simpler line structures, while higher strand counts lead to more even stress distribution. Low-strand lines are typically used in ports or for auxiliary mooring. High-strand lines and braided structures are suitable for high-intensity applications and offer greater stability.
Regarding materials, we offer polyester, nylon, and high-performance fiber mooring lines. Nylon lines have a high elongation rate, making them suitable for mooring applications that require shock absorption. Polyester lines offer dimensional stability with minimal performance changes over the long term. High-performance fiber lines are more commonly used in projects with specific strength and weight requirements.
When selecting a mooring line, several factors must be considered, including vessel size, mooring method, and operational frequency. When providing mooring lines to our clients, we also recommend the appropriate strand count and diameter based on their specific needs. In addition, the production and manufacturing of our mooring lines also comply with the OCIMF requirements for mooring systems.
