Jerryborg polyurethane oil containment booms use tough, flexible polyurethane that will not harden or wear out over time. They are lightweight but strong and easy to move and install. Unlike rubber, they won’t absorb water or break down, even in harsh conditions. You’ll see them in harbors, rivers, coastal areas and offshore oil cleanup. The smooth surface repels oil, making cleanup quick and easy. They also cope with waves and currents, keeping their shape and effectively intercepting spills. There are three types to choose from – solid floats, soft floats, and inflatable floats, each designed for specific needs.
