Jerryborg Marine Chemical Hose is used for liquid media transfer in chemical plants, chemical terminals, and chemical storage and transfer facilities. The products are divided into four types: PG, SG, SS, and PTFE. The main difference lies in the liner material and the configuration of the inner and outer steel wires.

The PG type uses plastic-coated steel wire and galvanized steel wire; the SG type can use stainless steel wire and galvanized steel wire; the SS type uses stainless steel wire; and the PTFE type adds PTFE to the liner. All four types use PP, PE, PA, and other materials as reinforcement layers, and the outer layer uses PVC and other materials depending on the configuration.

Chemical Hose is available for temperatures ranging from -30°C to +80°C and in sizes from 1″ to 12″. The working pressure of different models ranges from 1.4 MPa to 2.5 MPa, and they can be used in chemical plants, chemical terminals, acid and alkali media transfer, oil depots, the fragrance and flavor industry, and for flexible connections between equipment.

Chemical Hose Applications

  • Chemical Plants

Jerryborg Marine chemical hose can transfer liquids between different pieces of equipment in chemical plants. During production, when storage tanks, pumps, and equipment connections are involved, the hose can be used where a flexible connection is required.

  • Chemical Terminals

During chemical loading and unloading operations at terminals, flexible hose connections are needed between vessels, storage tanks, and loading and unloading equipment. Users can select the Chemical Hose based on the medium being handled and the working pressure.

  • Acid and Alkali Media

For media such as strong acids and alkalis, customers must choose the hose liner based on the actual medium being transferred. Jerryborg Marine offers different liner configurations for transferring these chemical media.

  • Military Oil Depots

Chemical Hose can also be used for liquid transfer and equipment connections in military fuel storage facilities. You can select the appropriate hose configuration based on working pressure, hose size, and medium requirements.

  • Fragrance and Flavor Industry

Hoses are also used for liquid transfer between production equipment in the fragrance and flavor industry. Chemical Hose can be used for flexible connections between equipment, with sizes from 1″ to 12″, making it easier to select a hose according to the equipment connections.

Some chemical equipment is not suitable for direct connection with fixed piping, especially where equipment movement is involved or installation space is limited. Chemical Hose can be installed in these locations as a flexible connection between equipment.
