Cryogenic Hose – Jerryborg Marine

Jerryborg Marine cryogenic transfer hose is mainly used to transfer low-temperature liquefied media. It is suitable for working temperatures from -50°C to 45°C, working pressure ratings of 2.0 MPa and 2.5 MPa, and sizes ranging from 1″ to 12″. The hose adopts a multi-layer composite construction. Depending on their functions, the sealing layer, reinforcement layer, and outer cover use materials such as PTFE, HDPE, PET, PA, PP, PE, and TPU. The hose also includes stainless steel inner and outer wires.

This construction allows the hose to maintain flexibility and strength under low-temperature conditions. It is suitable for the loading, unloading, and transfer of liquefied gases and other low-temperature media. Jerryborg Marine can provide the appropriate Cryogenic Hose specifications according to the type of medium, working pressure, temperature range, and connection method.

Cryogenic Hose Applications

  • LCO₂ Transfer

Cryogenic hoses can be used to load, unload, and transfer LCO₂. In practice, they can connect to LCO₂ storage tanks, transport equipment, and loading and unloading systems to transfer liquid carbon dioxide between different pieces of equipment.

  • LPG Loading and Unloading

Suitable for LPG loading and unloading operations. It can transfer liquefied petroleum gas between systems such as storage tanks, tank trucks, and terminal loading and unloading equipment.

  • Liquid Ammonia Transfer

It can be used in liquid ammonia storage and transfer systems to load and unload liquid ammonia and transfer the medium between equipment under low-temperature conditions.

  • Propane Transfer

Suitable for transferring low-temperature liquefied gases such as propane, and can be used for connections between storage tanks, transport equipment, and loading and unloading facilities.

  • Marine and Terminal Operations

Cryogenic Hose can be used as a flexible connection line in LPG terminals, liquefied gas storage and transfer facilities, and ship-to-shore loading and unloading systems. Compared to fixed piping, flexible hoses are more convenient for handling position changes and equipment connections during vessel berthing and unberthing.

Deep Cryogenic Hose

Deep Cryogenic Hose is mainly used to transfer ultra-low-temperature liquefied media. It is suitable for temperatures from -196°C to 45°C, pressure ratings of 1.05 MPa and 1.3 MPa, and sizes from 1″ to 12″. The hose adopts a multi-layer composite construction. The sealing layer uses PTFE, high-molecular-weight polymers, and polyamide materials. The reinforcement and outer cover layers use polymer materials and include stainless steel inner and outer wires to meet the requirements for transfer under ultra-low-temperature conditions.

Jerryborg Marine can provide appropriate deep cryogenic hose specifications for different media, working temperatures, pressures, and connection requirements. The hose is suitable for loading, unloading, and transferring ultra-low-temperature media such as LNG, liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid methane, and ethylene.

Deep cryogenic composite hose for LNG marine terminal loading and unloading

Deep Cryogenic Hose Applications

  • LNG Transfer

Used for loading, unloading, and transferring liquefied natural gas (LNG). It provides flexible connections between LNG storage tanks, transport equipment, terminals, and related loading and unloading systems.

  • Liquid Nitrogen Transfer

Suitable for storing, loading, unloading, and transferring liquid nitrogen. It efficiently transfers low-temperature media between storage tanks and transport equipment.

  • Liquid Oxygen Transfer

It can be used for low-temperature transfer, loading, and unloading connections in liquid oxygen storage and transfer systems. It is suitable for media transfer between equipment where a flexible line is required.

Liquid Methane TransferUsed for the transfer of ultra-low-temperature liquefied media such as liquid methane. It can be applied to storage, transport, and loading and unloading systems.

  • Ethylene Transfer

Suitable for the low-temperature transfer of liquid ethylene. It connects related storage tanks, transport equipment, and loading and unloading facilities.

  • LNG and Cryogenic Terminal Operations

Deep Cryogenic Hose can be used in LNG receiving terminals, LNG terminals, and other low-temperature storage and transfer facilities. For ship-to-shore loading and unloading operations where the position between vessels and shore equipment changes, the flexible hose can serve as the connection line between the equipment.
